The Wiedemann Ranch is located in the San Ramon Valley in Northern California. The ranch has been in continuous operation since its founding in 1867. Jeff and Nancy Wiedemann currently manage the business, and their two sons Christian and Clayton represent the fifth generation of the Wiedemann family to operate the family’s livestock operations and contribute to community service.

Wiedemann Ranch has evolved over its many years of operation, but our mission hasn’t changed: to produce quality commercial beef cattle that meet the needs of our buyers, utilizing traditional and modern practices including good stewardship of land and cattle, and implementing the latest best practices in genetics, medicine, and animal care.

We believe our current focus on uniform production replacement heifers that have been bred with an emphasis on maternal traits fills a much-needed niche for today’s commercial producers looking to buy high-quality female replacements from a trusted source.

If you would like more detailed information on genetics, health programs, growing conditions, or anything else, please let us know.
